Nordic World Heritage Conference 2020 is postponed
The Nordic World Heritage Conference 2020 is postponed to 2021. The conference was to be conducted in the period 8-10. September 2020, but the ongoing corona pandemic has led the conference steering committee in consultation with the Nordic World Heritage Association to decide that the conference will be postponed to 7-9. September 2021.
It is the World Heritage Center Rjukan-Notodden Industriarv at the NIA that plans and conducts the conference on behalf of Rjukan-Notodden Industriarv and the Nordic interest organization Nordic World Heritage Association.

The conference is conducted with a combination of presentations with international professionals and experiences in our local world heritage. The conference aims to be the most important meeting place for the Nordic World Heritage Sites during the year, gathering between 130 and 200 professionals related to the 41 World Heritage Sites in the Nordic region.

Through three days of conference in Vinje, Rjukan and Notodden we look forward to letting you get to know our World Heritage Site with a focus on research, development, stewardship, dissemination and business.
Welcome to the Nordic World Heritage Conference in Rjukan-Notodden Industrial Heritage 7.-9. September 2021!
The conference is organized by World Heritage center – Rjukan-Notodden Industrial Heritage in close cooperation with the Nordic World Heritage Association.
We invite our Nordic colleagues to send us suggestions and wishes for topics and keynote speakers within the end of October 2019. Suggestions can be sent to email@example.com.
Program for the conference will be published as soon as it is ready.
